The seller did offer to refund mymoney if I would send the cable back, but I doubt that would happen plusit's not worth the shipping. The seller blamed it on not havinga dedicated video card, but one does. I will never buy anything from this guyagain. DO NOT BUY THIS, IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY. I tried this cable withtwo laptops and neither one worked.
Ended up buying a Belkin VGA to VGA cable and it worked perfectly. The TV's went blank and said they weren't receiving a signal. Tried the cable on two different HDTV's and two different laptops. It simply didn't work.
I connected it to the component outputs of my HD cable box and a DVD player. The picture quality is excellent. I highly recommend this cable. The 25ft length enabled me to move the project far across the room from the source. Please remember that this cable will only work with VGA devices which can be configured for component video input. I bought two of these cables to use with my Panasonic HD projectors. The projector has a VGA connector for component video input.
Not worth wasting the money. Don't buy this product unless you plan to use it on an HDTV set, I tried using it on a standard TV but all I got are a black and white picture and scrambled.
No loose screws and the quality of the cable wrapping is very good. I am using this cable to connectEFORCITY VGA to S-Video / RCA Adaptorto my Samsung HDTV LCD 32inch and the image is great. I had no trouble connecting or anything.
